TV and the Internet
Perfect Equine Combination

We have all tasted that perfect dessert. That perfect combination of just the right "stuff" to tempt even those with a will to lose those extra pounds. It is combinations like peanut butter and jelly and Roy and Trigger that make for good food and good television. Thus the philosophy behind the award winning equine web site HorseCity.com and their most recent expansion beyond the world of cyber onto television.

Who would have thought that the internet would drive millions in sales during Christmas? What about the woman who was kicked by her mare and a friend watching on a web cam some 3,000 miles away called for help? Who would have thought that horse owners from around the globe would unite online to share, learn, and have fun? HorseCity.com, the Internet's largest horse web site is proud to lead the way online.

Each month over half a million horse enthusiasts view over 6 million pages and over 18 million ads on HorseCity.com and our network of equine web sites. Affiliate sites include the award winning BarrelHorses.com, WesternHorseman.com, RopeHorses.com, CuttingHorses.com and many more. These same users also post over 300,000 conversational posts on our bulletin boards, upload over 19,000 horse photos and place over $3,000,000 in horses online for sale.

Now, HorseCity.com has taken their love for horses onto television and into the homes of millions of horse enthusiasts on RFD-TV. Emmy award winning television producer and General Manager of HorseCity.com Ryan Dohrn has created a unique program with the grass roots horseman in mind. Dohrn said "I always try to focus my projects on ideas that my dad would like. He is a rural horse lover from Iowa. I figure if i can keep my dad watching then others will follow."

Each show segment grows from their online home and encompasses many of the ideas and information available on the web site. Each show of horsecity.com TV will feature four unique segments; In the Saddle, Barn and Farm, At The Clinic, and In The Irons.

The In The Saddle segment will feature training tips from AQHA World Champion barrel racer Lance Graves, Renowned horse trainer Craig Cameron and many others.

The Barn And Farm segment will take an in depth look at the issues that face ranch owners, like fencing, building barns, fly systems and much more.

veterinarian Dr. Mike Lowder hosts the At The Clinic segment of the program that takes horse owners through the many health issues that cause pain to our equine friends. From colic to floating teeth, Dr. Mike, Equine Professor at the University of Georgia, gives viewers a layman's look at remedies and methods for prevention.

In The Irons is our segment dedicated to the English way of life. From Dressage to hunter under saddle, each week champion trainers like Paul Ebersol and Daniel Geitner will break down the complex issues related to each discipline and give viewers the information they need to practice and achieve greatness at home.

HorseCity.com TV is a new look at your old friend. Horse people making TV for other horse people. Sounds like another winning combination.
